How to Uninstall PC App Store

If you need to remove the PC App Store from your device, you can do so through the standard Windows Settings menu. Follow these steps to ensure the application and its related data are completely removed.

 

Step 1: Close the PC App Store application

Exit the application using the icon in your system tray:

• Look at the bottom-right corner of your Windows screen (near the clock).

Step 3: Navigate to Installed Apps

Once the Settings window is open, locate the list of software on your PC:

• Click on Apps in the left-hand sidebar.

• Select Installed apps from the main menu area.

Step 4: Locate and Initiate Uninstall

Find the specific application in your list:

• Use the search bar under "Installed apps" and type "PC App Store".

• Once the app appears, click the three horizontal dots (menu) on the right side of the app entry.

• Click the Uninstall button that appears in the dropdown.

• A small confirmation bubble will appear stating "This app and its related info will be uninstalled"; click Uninstall again to proceed.

Step 5: Confirm System Changes

Windows User Account Control will ask for permission to let the uninstaller make changes:

• When the "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" window appears, click Yes.

Step 6: Finalize the Uninstallation

The PC App Store's own uninstaller will perform the final steps:

• A small pop-up will ask "Uninstall PC App Store?"; click Yes.

• After a brief moment, a final confirmation window will state "PC App Store has been uninstalled." Click OK to finish the process.
